Flasher location?

My signals have been failing over time and today the signal would not come on at all. So I purchased a Tridon EP27 from the local parts store.

Anyone know where this Flasher unit is located? I have pulled the access panel off under the steering wheel and cannot locate it.

I am not 100% sure it is the same for your 2000 but I just replaced a flasher at work in one of our 2005s. They should be the same but you never know.

First, the flasher for the turn signals AND four ways were built in together, not seperate like I used to remember. So, if you turn on your fourways (hazards) and listen you can follow it easier. It is in the bottom-middle of the dash. Basically behind the ash tray but to the left a bit. There is a cover over it and the flasher is behind that once you take it off. You may have to lay on your back with a light to see it. The cover is black.

Hope that helps.

It's behind the little pocket in the dash. (If you hold your tongue right you will be able to reach it)
