i was to lazy to read the whole thread, but heres what id do... Id put in a 12v and a 6 speed NV4500 tranny, then ya can get a granny in it. Wich is always nice to have somtimes. but you could go 24v for more power, but the 12 is easier to deal with. less electronics and more mechanical parts in it.
Not to be ****, but the 6 speed is a nv5600, the 4500 is the 5spd. Both are plenty strong & have the granny 1st. Second, if you keep it bone stock, a 24v may have more power, but the 12v has more potential. For less than $1000 you can have a 12v right around 400hp at the crank.
