High pitched whine?
Try pushing back and forth on the secondary linkage with the engine running. They could be out of adjustment on the stop and causing a whistle as the air goes by.

High pitched whine?
[font color=red size=2]I used to have a Holley 650 vacuum secondary carb that would whistle at cruising speed. We assumed it must have been from the air going through the carb past the butterflies. Swapped carbs and it went away.
