clunk up front?

hey guys i have an 88 f150 4x4 with a 302. when i take off from a stop i hear a clunk from up front. also when i come to a stop i hear the same noise. any ideas?

Yeah, I had a lawn nome wedged up in there once on my truck. That little bugger made quite a racket. Have a friend drive while you look at your front end to see what is making the noise. Try to keep up. If you have no friends I guess you are out of luck.
