I have a 1974 360 engine W/new factory rebuilt 2 barrel carb which with your help is running just about to perfection.
Now it is running very good but if i had to guess I'd say its running a little bit rich by the slight smell when it sits and idles awhile and the small amount of black soot in the tailpipes (which I've never seen any black smoke or any smoke for that matter) and it has a almost not even noticable hesitation on take offs.
but if i were to want to make a small adjustment of the carb,Which way would i screw in the two idle adjustment screws to lean her up a touch? or any other small adjustments to make. I know im just being picky but weve came so far!
Thanks
Thanks a bunch i just diddnt want to go heading the wrong direction with it.
I really dont understand the vacume method you mentioned but id like to learn if you dont mind explaining it.
