All your plugs are bad. If you want to replace the renturn lines go down to your neer by diesel shop and pick up a renturn line kit

You need 16 O rings for the caps and fuel resistant line to make the return lines up.
I can't remember what size it is, that was a couple of years ago when I did my last replacement of the return lines.
An extra O ring or four might be worth getting, they are easy to split or drop. Never did find the ones I dropped while doing mine.
Be very carefull with the return caps, they will be a bit on the brittle side.
Also use caution when you loosen the steel fuel lines to the injectors, if the nut is stuck to the line it is easy to twist a fuel supply line.
A bit of PB Blaster and work them back and forth till the nut spins on the line so it don't twist.

Hi all!
Can any one tell me what to use for a replacement connector for my glow plugs? The 1/4" spade connector is too small and the 3/8" too large.
Thanks
Phil

1/4" female spade connectors should go right on.
Use the yellow ones, the blue ones are to light duty.

From what you said about the light not lighting when you did the test, yes I would say they are all dead.
Not that strange to see them all dead on the old style system.
It was controlled by a timer and coolant temp.
One plug burns out and the extra amps go to the rest of the plugs for the duration of the timing cycle.
Next thing you know 4 are burnt out and the remaining 4 are now getting twice the amount of amps they are supposed to, so they are toast real soon.

Lots of people here know lots about these trucks, I just say it a little different than most, more often than most AND LOUDER ALSO.

Thanks for the comeback Dave. The gp's I got from Autozone measure .325 across the male spade. can't possibly fit .25" female connectors. I went to several auto parts trying to find a spade connector that will fit. I suppose I could grind them down to fit , but that goes against the grain. I don't remember the part # they gave me but they are Motorcraft.
