How can I stop Netscape from opening

Hi guys,
I downloaded Netscape 8 to try it out for a month, but i don't like it. I want to go back to IE 6. I tried uninstalling Netscape but i can't open any of my shortcut folders. I reloaded Netscape Browser and for now i just want to stop Netscape from ever opening again. How can i do this?

try running IE; if I'm not mistaken, it should ask if you want it to be the default browser, if not, there should be a setting in internet options to set it as default.

If you're running windows XP, then go to the start menu, then the "program access and defaults" From there you can select which browser to use.

Then you'll need to go into the internet options panel, and change it there.
