does anybody know of an after market company where i can get a new yoke, it is for a 1978 ford f-250 4x4 auto tranny new process 205 with dana 44 frt. axle the drive shaft has two u-joints back to back at the yoke(transfer case end) i,ve been looking locally but no luck, ford garage said obsolete, anybody have any help for me,,,john
check with any drive-line shop. you're looking for a CV-joint made by Spicer. They are still availible from Dana/Spicer.
just because Ford says they are obsolete doesn't mean the OEM doesn't still supply them.

See if driveshaft will work without C.V. joint. This are costly and weak. A few of my friends have had drivelines made without these and they work great.-
