I'm new to the forum. Just joined today. I also need help decoding a 1966 F100 # F10AL750805. I couldn't locate the VIN decoder with a search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I got my old 66s decoded and a 79 f150 donor but can someone tell me how to find vin help on a mercury 97 gran marquis for my wife posssible new ride?
Trapper
Well I took mama out to drive the mercury and I had talked to te person who puchased it new. He gave very favorable words about the car and hadnt had any work necessary except a recall to fix something loose in the ac.the only place that changed the oil md fluids was a ford dealer and he had changed all fluids at 60000 and he could't think of anything wrong with rlhe car. It seemed nearly too good to be true. Well they crossed me up and allowed more for the the old 93 w near,y 190000 on the clock. I asked that they clhange tl'he plugs and fuel filter plus they replaced the intake per recall amd put in a new thermostat and coolant. The car has the handling package dual exhaussts special wheels and rate the engine at 20more ponies than stock. It is supposed to have a heavier suspension sway bars etc.
I would llike to get a copy of the widow stcker to see what was built ito tle car. The dealer claims Ford wont even get them a sticker for a year old ehicle. This appears to been built with all the bells and wistles.
The link you said to try didn't work. Thanks for the help. The people were real nice at the dealership. I would go back for another vehicle if I were in the market. We shall see if I goofed in the next few months.
Thanks for the help. When the weather gets a little warmer so I can get thle floorboards patches put in and rustprooofed before putting in new insu;ation and new carpet. Then the 01 f150 seats will be gooing in.
