Ok guys, here is my delimma, I went to NAPA and ordered a new master cylinder for my 77 150. I got it no problems, took it home and bench primed it and put it back on the booster. The brake line fitting that is closest to the cab fit fine but the one towards the front of the pickup is TOO BIG for the hole in the master cylinder. Can someone tell me what is up with this??? Because I really expected a new master cylinder to fit rite. Is there anything I can do to correct this outside of getting a new brake line??? Thank
You've probably got the wrong replacement. Take it back and match it up with the old one. Sometimes you'll run into production changes during a model year.
I had an '86 van, and when I got front pads, they wouldn't fit. Found out that it used '85 pads.
