Winch Bumper
Lately i have been looking for a good built winch bumper for my 92 F150 that will hold a 6,000lb ramsey winch but have been unable to find one. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

well the future will come real quick with that small of a unit. Jeeps dont even use that small of a winch so you can either pay for something twice or save a bit more and do it once. it will be cheaper in the long run

have a local shop make one for you. or look at teh warn classic winch bumper. i was reading about the reciever winchs. you ahve to get a reciever that is strong enough to deal with the winch. a class 3 hitch will only work for about 5000 lbs if i remember right. you're talking a class 5 hitch for larger winchs.

I agree w/ Kemicalburns. I have a 94 f250 4x4 I would'nt consider anything less than a 12 thousand pound winch.

theres a place in milford ct called mesco inc. they will fabricate and ship anything you can imagine. we had a large winch bumper built for our f700. clean welds good paint. it was exactly what we wanted. shipping to a local dock was 165.00
