F100 won't shift automatically. Shifts fine manually. I have replaced the modulator and filter, checked vacuum line, changed fluid. I recently had the carb changed, I was told the kickdown does not need to be hooked up, I am curious if this could be the problem.
Take the kickdown and shove it the other way and try it, or should I say lever, had to take mine off would not shift right, that is the linkage itself. GWB
