pot metal cleaning?

What pot metal are you cleaning up.
I used a degreaser and a wire brush on some or my stuff and than buffed it with rouge and it polished up like chrome.
But like you said it is a lot of work.
I did my dizzy and the electronic ignition box. they came out better than I thought they would.
