Which one?
Which one of the speed sensors actually control the speedo on a 98 f150,,,, I thought it was sposed ta be the one on the diff,,,, but reading here makes it sound like maybe its the one on the tranny,,,,So does anyone know for sure.... i have replace both and now thinking maybe I need to pull the tailshaft on the tranny and check the gear on the shaft,,,,, by the way have been getting a a code for noisy speed sensor for awhile,,,, so thought it was the one on the diff,,,, but again replace both and no luck

miles only add up when the speedo is working....I put the truck up on jacks and run it,,,,,speedo only works on acceleration if you hold it steady it does not work and neither does the odometer.... beginning to think it must be the gear in the tranny
