I have just bought a 1994 F250 Supercab with a 460 and automatic. Just to the right of the top of the steering wheel on the dash is a toggle switch with two arrows, one pointing left, one right. It is about even with the fuel tank switch that is on the left side. There is nothing else on or close to the switch except the arrows. It appears to be original, but I don't really know. There are four wires coming from the back of the switch, three of them are connected. Any ideas on what this switch is supposed to do? Thank you in advance for any help.
Is it a migit turn signal switch? haha. Can you pull on it to make the four ways to come on? Or this might be a key remove switch or something for resetting the steering wheel lock?
The wires from the switch are spade type connectors, the wires from the truck plug into them. I would check the owners manual if I had been lucky enough to get one, but no such luck.
I have tried the switch and nothing obvious happens. No ball bearings, no wife ejector, no nitro boost, not even a mundane click in the steering wheel lock. The mirror adjusters are in the door switch.
Oh, well maybe someone else has an idea, otherwise I guess it is a matter of trying to trace wires or else just admire the nice "switch ornament".
