I have a 1985 f-150 in-line 6 . It was once rebuilt by previous owner. prblem is he left off most of the emissision control parts and blocked off , screwed off, and unhooked just about all of it. My guestion is what can I do to take the rest of the stuff off and make it a plan old simple 6 cyl. Thanks,

runs good when sitting, runs bad when try to drive. no state inspections,found one trble. since posting, blowed gasket between exhaust and throttle body,if that is what you call it,not sure? Also forgot to mention there is no EGR canister with the hoses that hook to cat.converter pipe and oil fill cap.
