Torque Convertor Question
Will the torque convertor off a 4.9L work on a 5.0L? It's for the E4OD tranny. I know the convertor will bolt up to the 5.0L flywheel but will it all fit properlyinto the tranny?

see I'm having problems getting the motor and tranny to bolt up tightly. Can't get it in the last 3/8"

did the torque covertor seat properly into the trans? it has to not stick out. did you compare both convertors? or did you just have one?

only have the one off the 4.9L which is the original from the original motor and tranny

try turning the convertor 90 degrees than push in than 90 degrees than push in. it has to be in properly and you will know it when it slides in all the way into the trans.
