aif filter interval
fuel filter / seperator interval
what do you think about syntec oil chnges
just bought an 00 excursion 7.3 diesel
i am and audi mechnic for 7 years now i have zero deisel training but i think i can tackle these jobs myself , thanks in advance sal

 

i do amsoil every 6k with rotate-15k for fuel filter--eyeball airfilter replace as needed

 

You will have a much better response if you first...

Do a search in the 7.3L Powerstroke forum, then if you don't find what you need post up in that forum. There are a lot more people that surf that forum than this one b/c of all of the Superduty guys/gals. From what I remember if you change the filter out half way through they get 9k out of an oil change but don't quote me on that I too am pretty new to the 7.3L.

I have also heard that rotella (spell?) is the way to go when it comes to oil. There is one other out there that guys have been raving about but remember, its 15quarts each change!
