I have a 2003 Ford F 150 Heritage Edition and needless to say I want it to sound like a real bad A$$!!!! I know that comes with a price but if anyone can give me some thoughts on what the loudest or deepest system I can get I would appreciate it.
My 99 250 LD 4x4 sounds pretty good with 3" cat-back flowmaster. It's set off a few alarms. I went with the cat back so as not to void my warranty. My warranty is now expired so I'm going to change it to dual flowmasters. Every truck i've seen with at least dual outlet(catback with 2 flowmasters) has sounded really good.
Hey, thanks your input I appreciate it.... I had a 99 Mustang GT with an off road H pipe and two MAC mufflers. I loved the way my car sounded and really want my truck to sound like that.
No problem. Like I was saying though; if your warranty is up you can do dual real easy. If you look under the truck, the head pipes come down on each side and meet up behind the tranny. Both sides have a cat(I'd remove the cats, but California is full of tree hugging hippies!), which sucks, but you can still run the pipe straight back from there. Anyways, good luck with whatever you decide.
I had true dual with no cats, and sweet talker bottles, sounded really badass, but I got them removed cause it was a tad too loud for me on the highway!
