Missfire
A few weeks ago I started to get rough idle and what is definately a dead cylinder. It would go on for about 30 sec and then run fine. Maybe happens every 3-4 days.
Problem is when I go to pull a code later, nothing shows up. So yesterday I had my scanner with me and it happened. I pulled codes during the missfire and got code p0303 which is missfire cyl 3. What could cause such an intermittant problem like this?? Is cyl #3 plagued by coolant leaks?? Could it be getting wet and burning off??
The truck is a 98 5.4L F-150 so it has COPs.
