Look good, I bought the stainless ones. Not the highest quality I've ever seen, had a broken bulb in one when I got it. Burned out a bulb in about 2 months due to ground wire being loose inside the housing. Problems aside, (both lights work fine now) THEM *****'S ARE BRIIIGGGHHHTTT!!! For the money, I guess I'd buy 'em again.
Same as Rudy, Bought the Stainless Steel version. $56 each from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers. Mounted them on my Go Rhino brush guard. They look good except for the cheap plastic covers. Bright as hell. A deal for the price. You can always buy a better brand of 130w halogen bulbs for $7-$10 each and still save a lot of money over the name brand lights.
You probably already got your lights, but for anyone else looking, for the money, they are a great light. I also got the stainless. Once you get them aimed, they will light up the road solidly for at least a mile or more.
I have the smaller 5 inch procomps and I must say they work pretty good, I am dissappointed in myself for not going with the bigger ones considering they are not all that expensive.
That would be overkill, but would be awesome backup lights...
I have to make up for the fact that I only get to see the sun 1 hour during winter. Heck the way this summer went I only go to see the sun 7-8 days. I have 4" Aircraft Landing Lights on my 4 wheeler for plowing since stock are crappy. I have 4 9" 240 Lightforce on my truck. Custom mount bracket was made.
Which one??? The truck, the four wheeler or snowmachine????
As for the truck each light is 100 watts so that 400 watts. My alternator is 140 amp. But that is a good question on the draw issue. Only time I really use them is highway driving so the engine is going at 1650 rpm.
As for the snowmachine just keep the spedo over 60 and your ok. Just kidding. The lights on the helmet draw 35 watts each. They are specifically made for 12 volt helmet mount systems.
I am actually looking a getting back up lights but I assume the Pro Comps are pencile beams. I need floods so I can see the trailer.
I just installed 2 of the 8" 130's last weekend, they work great! i fabbed up a mount (pics coming soon...) so they sit right on top of my bumper, infront of my grille. they light up the road (or trail) like its daytime, and they look pretty sturdy, I havent had them on very long but I've done some solid off roading and they're as good as the day I bought em
