460 headers

i have a 77.5 f-250 crewcab 4x4 i am going to put a 460 engine in and i was woundering who all makes fenderwell exit headers for a standerd trans and how much they cost? i have seen of L&L, and hooker says that theirs only work on auto transmissoins why is that?

i have l& l chassis exit headers on mine, not sure abot the fenderwell ones. definatley worth the money..

L& L has the fenderwell exits, I'll be putting those on my 77.5 crewcab. I have nothing but good things to say about the chassis exit L&L's on my 70 crewcab. They have about the thickes flanges on a set of headers you can get. Also you might look into headman's they have a couple fenderwell exit sets.

i seen on the website fr hedman theirs only work on auto trans

If your going with fenderwell exit headers the trans will not matter as they exit the engine compartment and not continue back to the trans area. i guess linkage may be your only concern.
