I'll never use 15/40 again....
I have run 10/30 diesel oil in my 6.0 for 90K miles without a hitch. Runs better, gets better fuel economy and starts better. The last time i needed a change i could not find 10/30 diesel here in Helena Montana to save my life!! Even Ford didn't have any! So i put 15/40 in it. Big mistake!!!! 8 degrees today and it started decent but was VERY quiet and smoked black for about 2 minutes. Then all of the sudden the injector rattle kicked in and sounded like it was gonna come apart!!!! Wonder how this affected my injectors?? Same truck last winter in Wisconsin with 50K on the clock and 10/30 and it started at -25 after snomobiling for over 14 hours with no where near the racket!!!!! Guess i'll have to pick up a few buckets of 10/30 when i go through Illinois next month. Plugging it in is rarely an option for me.

I had a hard time finding it here in MI also. I got it from my Ford dealer....Motorcraft 10W30 Super Duty Diesel Oil. Your dealer can order it for you. Starts nice on the cold winter days. Granted, I keep it in the garage, but have never plugged it in yet.

15/40 "delo" works for my 6.0 . but im also in a warmer climate in west texas no problems with hammering on start up yet

Mystic is made by CATO and is the actual brand i run. Never use a drop. The only oil my trucks ever burned is when i couldn't get Delvac for my 7.3 and put Rotella in it. It burned a qt every 1000 till i changed it...........
