This morning got in my truck and it started fine. Drove an hour and 1/2 to my first jobsite. I shut the truck off for maybe 5 minutes, then got in it to leave and it would barely turn over, popped the hood and checked the batteries, the little red light was glowing instead of green. Got someone to help jump the truck off. It started up. I didn't get 10 minutes down the road, and the radio starts to cut out, the ABS light and CEL come on, then the guages in the dash all go to zero yet the engine was still running. I made it maybe 3 more miles and the engine stalled and would not turn over. At first i thought batteries were going bad, but maybe it is the alternator. Had it towed to the dealer. Anyone else encounter a similar prob like this?
Alternator, I had another vehicle that happened to. Thought i was a low battery, put it on the charger and it started right up the next morning. Made it about half way to work and everything started to shut down and finely died. Car ran off the battery until the charge was gone.

I had a blind date that looked just like your avatar...
