2004 Expedition Fuel Filter Location

Does anyone know where this is located and the difficulty of changing it? Special tools required? It's a 2004 2WD XLT.

If its anything like the previous years, it should be on the drivers side rail under the drivers seat. If its not there, just follow the fuel line from the tank and it will be between there and the fuel pressure regulator. Good luck

...and assuming it is like the others you *will* need a special tool to release the 'quick release' spring-loaded connectors. (Not the springy external retaining clips, but inside the connector). They will not just pull off! < $10 from the parts store.
