realistic horsepower
Here is whats on the truck so far. I have an edge attitude, and and evolution. Evolution is set on setting 2, 60hp. I run the edge usually on setting 4. I have a cold air intake, and a 4 inch turbo back exhaust. Stock turbo, and stock hpop, stock fuel system.
Here is my want list. New regulated fuel system, stage 1 injectors (good to 350 hp), new bb turbo.
If I put these things on, and run with my existing goodies, how much hp is realistic? Am I going to be getting to close to the 400 hp number? Or am I more likely to be in the mid 300's? Or even at 300?
I plan on putting this thing on a dyno this spring, but dont want to invest in all these mods only to be damaging my engine at the same time. I also think the edge attitude/evolution will be replaced by a dp tuner in the near future. What do y'all think?
Realistic numbers should be over 300 at the rear tire, maybe mid 300's.
Ad stage I's and a modded IDM and you could get 400 with the right programming, but it would be easier to do with bigger injectors and less aggressive programming.
If your engine build date is after 10/00 and you have PMR's, I'd stick with the stock injectors. You are probably in the 280-300 range now with the tuner turned up.....
