Years and models of what? Ford car? Essentially, it'll go in to any car that was equipped with a 4.6 SOHC, including the '96+ Mustangs, '94+ Thunderbirds, and Crown Vics at some point. I don't know if the 4.6 used in the truck has the same bosses for the mounts. ???
The '96 Cougar engine is a non-PI engine. So, it can't be put into '98 and up Mustangs, F-series, much later CV's, etc. etc. Or least, not worth it, anyway.
Or are you asking what Cougars this engine can go into? Because of suspension and other drivetrain issues, it would be easiest to put it into '94-97 4.6L. Not sure the intake will fit under the pre-'96 hood, the hood was bubbled out for '96-97.
Just wondering what cars or trucks this engine will go in with relative ease. I am going to part out the car. (in case someone asks if it will fit such & such vehicle) Thanks again

It can replace almost any non-PI 4.6L that is a "Romeo" motor. The trucks have the Windsor motor, usually, except maybe early F150's.
