Ok so now I am in a position to purchase a programer. But which one? Superchips, Edge, Predator????? Any help here. I have gone through about a million posts and am still drawing a blank. I don't drive it like a race car and I pull a 5th wheel.

Zip,
I have an 06 F-250 5.4 and the only thing I can find for my truck is the Superchips Flash Paq. They have a towing mode tune, high performance 93 octane tune and an 87 octane tune. For some reason, the F-250 version has less capabilities than the F-150 permits, shifts and shifting not able to be modified on F-250 applications.

It really depends on what your ultimate goal is. I have a Predator and think it does what I need it to do just fine. If your gonna be into hand programming your truck after a bunch of mods, then an SCT works.
I have no experience with the Superchips or Edge. Based on corporate literature and price I chose the Predator over those two.

Well I have done about as much as I can afford for the time being. Put in a drop in K&N, Flowmaster cat back and a Superchips tuner. Gotta get the hitch installed as it's almost time to start dragging around the 5th wheel.
