Sliding door hardware question.....
I'm starting to move the doors from my 90 EB to the 91 XL. It looks like the roller on the bottom of the 91 side door bracket is worn out, the door drags a little when closing. I noticed that there is a plate that keeps the roller in the track when the side door is opened to the maximum. This plate is fastened with some rather large pop rivets. Is it possible to remove the bottom door bracket without removing this plate? It looks like once the bracket is removed from the door that by tilting the bracket up it might come out. I'd like to be prepared and know what I'm in for before I start. Anyone have any info????
