I finally picked and chose a tonneau cover that fit my needs. I dont usually ever use th bed so opening and closing the tonneau wasnt really an issue. Also I wanted to go with a soft top since I really dont want to dish out the $$$$ for a fiberglass tonneau (painted of course). So I ordered the snap on cover from Extang. I hear very good things about this specific product. That its Great for the price and functionality can be a pain in the you know what but it works well (can change the tabs for cold/hot weather). Tell me what you think!
P.S. thank god I dont have to drill anything with this.
ok, this is what happend when i went to install it. I got everything done smooth up until I had to actually anchor the rails in. For some reason, it wouldnt fit and no matter how I positioned it, it wouldnt set. For 15 min I was bugging out...then my brother came over, looked at the manual and called me a dumb a$$. I didnt recognized that there were X-large clamps and large clamps....Long story short, It fits nice and I have it on the loose setting. Looks great too
P.S. Removing those clips are a pain. I might just leave it in the loose mode and not bother with it.
P.P.S. A small stiching seems to be a little loose. Should I worry about it? I dont think its going to come loose anytime. Plus I think I have a warranty of 3 years on it
