Lost Keys Help!!
Hi all, this is a great site. I lost the keys to my 99 Superduty. I went to the dealer to get a new one, they said they could not find a key code for My truck because it was previously a fleet vehicle and they said the records were not available. I used the same key for the door and the ignition but now i am told that the ignition key has more "cuts" than the door key and that if I get a door key made it wont turn the ignition. My keys didnt have the chip in them. Just trying to find a cheaper way out than the locksmith, cheapest quote I got was $95 to come out and make me a set of keys.
