Just bought an 06 F250 CC Lariat with the V10. My question is...to the left of the steering wheel below the guages there is an oval switch blank. When I pulled the blank out to install an aftermarket reverse light switch there was a plug and harness attached. What is it for? What if any power runs through it? I am wondering if I can tap into it to get some power.
Not sure what option it is for, but if you check the pins with a multimeter and you have voltage then you can use it for what ever you want. As long as it isn't drawing to much juice. You can try pulling fuses until the voltage disappear to find out what circuit it is on.
I use mine quite frequently on long trips. It comes in handy when I change the seat angle to keep the angle ratio of my foot, the floor & pedal the same.
Granted, I'm only 5'9", so I have room to spare on the adjustments...
