optional 18 inch rims

I have a 2005 F250 with optional 18" wheels. How wide are the wheels?

I think they are 8"

The drivers side door sticker should show the wheel size as well.

pull em`, sell em, and put on a set of 17`s , the price of 18 inch rubber up here is down right scary, don`t forget to reprogram the pcm to adjust the speedometer

Yeah but if he goes from an 18" to a 17" wheel with a TIRE of EQUAL height, then nothing's changed right? The OVERALL diameter remains the same.

You are right RICH. As long as the overall diameter is within an inch, I wouldn't reprogram the PCM.

the 18's are scarie price wise ,just go down to a 65 series and you have a better choice gy, bfg yokohama and a few others .

Ford unfortunately seems to be the only OEM with 18" so far. And the Conti's really suck. I sure hope the tire manufactuers start giving us a choice for e-rated tires. I may be forced to dump my 18's. There are a few OEMS with 18" tires but not e-rated
