Repairing broken vacuum lines.
If you have a broken vacuum line on your truck you can take a piece of heat shrink and slide it over the line and heat it to seal the line back up. Just tried this and it works great.

I assume you mean for this to be a temporary repair until you get a replacement hose :-)

Or until it breaks again. Of course then I would probably do the same thing until I got around to getting a new line.
