95 F-150 E4OD tranny. Like I stated in my earlier posts, the tranny seems to be in 1st no matter what. It fights itself in reverse and park, it moves forward and stays in first even while its in nuetral. Sound like the sylenoid body is failing, or something else? Is it possible that the plug on the passenger side could have gotten wet a while back and has malfunctioned since?
One more question... Is it possible to pull out the valve body and sylenoid body while it's still in the truck, or do I need to pull the tranny before doing so?

hey quicklook, I figured it wouldn't have been a problem taking them out. First step once I get it in the garage will be to look at that connector... because even before this, the transmission was very moody. Some days it would work fine, others it wouldn't want to move.
I read up on the CD manual you sent me and got a good look at what I'm going to get into. Doesn't seem to be too bad, thanks again for that CD! It's been a lifesaver.
