Need to start with a schematic. Get it off the autozone web site. You need to source out all fuses, relays and flasher units. If you have a 4x4 car, you have additional relays in the back driver's qtr panel. Sorry, you'll need to work through this with the schematic.
So the autoparts guy tells me that it takes at least 5 years before the information is release by the OEM's, processed and finally put into manuals. There is a company, Helm something, that porcesses this information. I think they also publish the TSB's. i thought your 2001 might be out there already but I guess not. I know I am waiting for a manual for my 2002 Durango. One other think that might help, though I don't think there are schematics, is to buy a membership on alldata.com. It's somehow sponsered by autozone...links to it off the regular autozone web site...and has most of the repair info. Not too sure about the electricals though. There is an example vehicle on the website that you can look at, full access but just for that vehicle. it will give you an idea of what they have. For the longest time, this example was a 1993 4.0 Ranger. So I got all kinds of free stuff for my 1993 Explorer...then they changed it!
