The computer will wonder where the tranny is.
You'll need to switch to another computer that doesn't have an electronically controlled transmission. I'm also 95% sure you have a MAF EFI system instead of the more common speed density system. So you'd need a MAF computer as well.
A computer from a 87ish-93 mustang will work, they are usually A9L or A9P computers. It should swap right in but you may want to get a pin diagram from fordfuelinjection.com and make sure there arn't any wires in the wiring harness that need to be changed. You may or may not need to re-wire the o2 sensor.
