Code P0303 on 2001 4.2 issue

Code P0303 on 2001 4.2 issue
2001 F150 4.2 Code come up as P0303 mis-fire on Cyl 3. I've just poped in new plugs and the wires look fine.. Truck idles fine but seems to mis under load. Any thoughts as to what to do next?

Welcome to the site. My truck did the same thing had missfire on Cyl 4. I have a 97 F150 4.6 I replaced both plugs and wires, and it runs great now. Reading what you typed I would suggest by replacing the plug wires. How many miles on the truck. That is just my .02 worth to try and help you.
