Distributor needed
Hello everyone. I am new here, and a refugee from a Mustang forum. I need some help. I have a 70 Mustang with a 351C that I am converting to fuel injection. I bought a system from Mass-flo EFI and it came with a Mallory distributor with a TFI module. This distributor is so tall, it hits the bottom of my air cleaner, and so it won't work. I know that a 460 distributor will work in a 351C, and I am hoping that it will be quite a bit shorter. The problem comes in because I need a 460 distributor with the TFI attached. Not remote. All the parts stores list one number for all 460's from 88 to 98. A couple have ordered them in for me, and they are all remote mount TFI. Even the Ford parts guys haven't been able to help unless I have a VIN number. Can someone give me the information I need to go to Ford and order a distributor with the TFI module attached? Or can someone sell me one?
