I took my radio out via the glove box. You can put speakers in the doors, they make a plastic pice that you mount witht he speaker screws that shield the speaker from any water that gets into the door. I bent my radio mount tabs bach then mounted my cd player to them with the screws and mounting holes supplied with the radio. it looks factory. and good luck trying to steal it.
Sam, One of our group has his speakers mounted on the floor under the edge of the seat, pointed toward the door, he says that it works great. http://www.crutchfield.com has a setup for that. I think it's a ducky idea.
