I don't think it was a 73 though, I believe it was the 67-72 style. I have never seen one with a suber cab before on the style. I don't even think it was available. If it was a custom job he did a good one
I will have to go out and get that Mag. I have wanted to build a super cab 68 for a while now but didn't want to waste one of my 4door cabs. I put a 5.9 cummins in a 79 supercab but would love to build a 68 Supercab when it rots out!!!
Got the issue today. It is very cool, whats with the 2pages? That truck should be the Feature. Can anybody tell what frame he used in those pics?
Thanks "Pauls Painting" for starting this thread!
in the article it says the super cab was available in that year, but he took a 67-72 super cab and put the back onto his truck.
steve
Wouldn't be the first time they were wrong.
Sometimes I can't count how many simple mistakes they make in those articles. Half the time it might be an owner thats stretching the tructh about there trucks too. Such as the guys that slap the "F550" badges on their truck and claim thats what it actually is. I always get a kick at them...

Like the guy i asked at champion for a fuel filter for a 390 4bl and he gave me the one for the 460. When we took it back he tried to tell me ford never put a 4bl holley on the 390 in the truck's only on the 460. But then again this same peon told me i couldn't put a tape deck in the dash on the 73-79. This dude need's to find a job he's quailified for like the village idiot
I got that issue also. Its an awsome truck. If the article says that the s/c was available that is wrong. I have a different issue from at least 3 years ago that has a section on the history of Ford trucks. When I find the issue I'll post more details about it.
