Replacing syncros

Replacing syncros
I did a search and came up with nothing, I was wondering how hard it is to replace the syncros in a 1992 f150 with the mazda 5 speed. The grinding has been getting progressivly worse when shifting from 2nd into 3rd it dosen't do it all the time about 80%. 4th to 3rd is fine. Or could it be something else?

It involves fully disassembling your transmission and reassembling it.
If you're serious, I strongly recommend investing in the book "How to Rebuild and Modify your Manual Transmission" - I wish I had this for my first rebuild.
You'll want to replace all the bearings as well - I suggest you call transtar industries and get a price on their rebuild kit.
