With the 77 f-250 & a 6" lift I'd say you'll easily clear 35-14.50 swampers, off the top of my head I think the 35" boggers are 15 inches wide, They too will fit without a problem,
if you are wanting a taller tire you'll probably have to lift it a bit more or do some fender trimming,
As stated above there are a lot of conversations about tire life, if you are not worried about a long life get what ever you think looks best, my favorite so far for ware & durability are the swamper ssr radials, My last set were 38-15.50-16.5's I got 23K miles before I took them off & they were still about 30% tread, the only reason I took them off was I needed them for my other truck,
if you do not have wheels already you may want to look into the toyo open country tires, that is what I replaced my swampers with & I'm pretty happy with them so far,

You can fit At least 37's with a 6" lift I'm not sure how wide becuase I like the skinny looking tires. you can get 36" IROK's for about 170 per tire, but I wouldn't recomend getting the IROK's because they don't have much tread and they don't wear very good. I would Recomend getting the TSL's 36's or 37's

I used to only have addaleaves in my 79 F250 and with 35" BFG All Terrains I could on get them to rub very slightly at full stuff. I now have 4" lift springs in it and have put 35" MTR's on it, which are about 1 1/4" taller than the BFGs, and I have all kinds of room for them. With six inches (which I am debating to do) you can definitly run 37's.
Just my two cents.

My '78 F250 has 3.5" lift and fits 38"x15" SuperSwampers on 16.5" rims. Clears everything fine. . .only area of concern that i can see is flexing it out on full lock and it might rub the front cab mounts.

i put a 6 inch skyjacker on ofr a friend and cleared my 38.5x15 boggers with no problems what so ever... a 39.5x15 tsl clears but i think it's gonna rub if you suff it back with the tires cranked too much...

As far as swampers go, the LTB is a great tire. Almos the same tread as the TSL, but it has some mean sidewalls, and they are cheap. I found 33x13.5R15s for $125 per tire on www.tyres1.com if you want to see what I'm talking about go here> http://www.intercotire.com/piclib/536.jpg I don't know what sizes they offer off the top of my head, but they are mean lookin tires.

47 will be out very shortly

im running 44's with 6 inches and fender cutting, no rubbing lock to lock full compression or droop, axle had to be moved foward 4 " to clear body mounts

you can run 39.5x18's very easily with 6 inches...minor fender trimming at bottom corners

Hey RotGrubestier44 those LTB's you bought how are they wearing? How many miles do you have on them and how much tread is left?

I have a 78 Bronco with 7" of lift and I run 38.5x12" Super Swampers. They don't rub. As far as wear goes they wear alright. Mine have worn a little faster cause I had a spool in the rearend and I always burnout and do brakestands .

The tires are kinda loud going down the highway and if your getting a bigger size, when cold they have a "flatspot" until they warm up.
