right, but I'd heard of different catalyst besides Methlyoxide which didn't require such mixing of dangerous chemicals.
Woogs you on the right track. I"ve been researching the same thing. If I can find the link I have I'll post it up. It details a study that uses a SOLID catalyst that does not require mixing methanol and lye. FABMANDELUX.
Hi all: I just compleated my new oil pre-cleaner and 2 new water-oil seperators. Building is ready for insulation and the new 400 gal heating tank is about half finished. I started building the new "pulsed-flow-reactor" yesterday also.
Tried the Hydrocyclone again this week, up to about 95 % recovery now. Will have to tear it apart AGAIN to do more mods to the inside..........so much work..........so little time
Ok im gonna go ahead and start the conspiracy theory. Fab the oil industry is gonna come to your house and take you instant biodiesel away from you. Make sure you document and picture and email to everyone so that you cant disappear. Better yet dont let them pay you off with a billion dollars.

I've got news for you...............I'd settle for HALF........
yeah, it would be awsome if when your done with everything you could make a material list and instructions ... that would really help people who wopuld like to venture into making biodiesel. shoot if you need some help, i could probably do some of it for you.
See post #11 this thread.............[QUOTE=fabmandelux]
......I have had such a responce to what I have built that I'm working on a parts list and print's of the equipment so that others may build one if they choose. I'm also documenting everything on video.
Enough of my rant........as to cost, when I've finished with my parts list and drawings I will post them for all to see at no cost.
Fabman, May i ask what you need 100K gallons of BIO a year for???
I'm working to get us farmers OFF of the grid. I'm tired of seeing our money going to a bunch of rag-heads while the family farms are cought between higher fuel prices and declining grain prices . I've been working with a farmer in Washington state that uses 2.5 MILLION gal of diesel/year. Most of us use 10,000+ gal of fuel a year. If we can grow our own fuel that leaves more for the rest of the public, and should mean less imports from the middle east. We need to bring our troops HOME and let the middle east blow each other up.
Ok, off my soap box now, I feel much better now..................
