what is the year of your bronco II. They all came with v6's as the only engine option, but a variety of transmissions available corisponding to years they where made.

rebuilds are about 1000 i think but ive never had one done... yet anyway so im just guessing the price they yould tell you. Can you remove the tranny your self? bring just the tranny to the place without them removing it makes it a whole lot cheaper. the trans is i think code named the "C-5" anyone know for sure?

An '85 would have an A4LD in it. If you have it rebuilt, have them do the 4.0 updates.

I've heard horror stories about those trannys.
Wasn't there an issue with the front seal blowing on them ?
