Red face Help with broken door hinge

My husband is having trouble fixing the passanger side door on his ranger. It started as a broken door handle on the outside, which he had repaired before. This time though the door won't even open from the inside. I assume it has something to do with the hinge as does he. Anyway, he can't seem to fix it so I thought I'd hope on here and see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks for everyones time. I appreciate it.

I would be more inclined to think that the linkage has somehow failed inside the door. To access the linkage without opening the door will require removing the door panel with the door closed; not exactly the most convenient way to have to get in there. Depending on what he's driving this could possibly require seat removal, but only you/he can determine that. I would highly doubt it's a broken hinge; they are pretty tough.
