I have a 2000 excursion v10 with 100,000 miles.How many times is the 4r100 suposed to shift? It seems like I get 4 from 1st to od. It's like I get 2 out of 3rd.

It shifts 1-2, 2-3, the the torque converter locks, which feels just like a shift, then 3-4. That's 4 shifts.
