Tranny Dipstick Problem
Just replaced my E4OD with a C6 on my 1991 F150 351W, the dipstick is in a different location. Use to sit on the passenger side of the engine now it is in a very bad spot behind the intake. Today I picked up the truck from the shop and drove it for 1-2 miles and wouldn't shift, found out that it was leaking tranny fluid from were the dipstick inserts into the tranny. Any ideas how to fix this. THANKS!!!

Lokar makes a nice flexible tranny dipstick. You can mount the top part just about anywhere. I mounted my handle part to my firewall in my '53.

If the dipstick insert is just leaking, there should be an o-ring around the insert as well, it might need replaced. But if it's bent, which is causing it to leak, the Lokar dipstick may be the way to go.
