Favorite motor?
I will run a 4.13 bore.
Are you going to recomment the trw pistons? I don't like the fact that they are dished. I want 11.5:1 compression with 74cc heads.
Will the machining remove the dish? what compression should it jump to? does maching the pistons weaken them?
It will put the rings closer to the top, making them more suseptable to breaking do to heat.
I would rather widen the crank journals. This will lower the force per unit area on the crank and rod journal. This will also require less oil pressure to run safe. I know fords have a problem with too nairow main and rod journals. This motor will put out 550-600hp, a lot more if I use nitrous, I want to have a strong runner.
The eagles are two piece forgings, they are supposed to be good, what I hear.
