Well I got the Old headlights and turn signals out of the 1999 Super Duty F250 and got the new clear lens 02/03 style in, BUT... They are not lined up. One is higher than the other. There are two adjusters on the headlights, one on the top right and one on the lower left. Which one makes the light go up or down, or left or right? Does it require a special tool as the adjuster is a small dia rod with splines in it. I dont have a socket small enough to fit. new lights look good.

All you need is a torx driver, T15 I think, but don't hold me to it. Then just pull up to a wall (garage door works great) and get them lined up. It's been a while since I've adjusted mine, but I wanna say the one closest to the fender moves them up and down. However, it'll be real easy to tell once you get the lights shining on a wall.
Hope this helps,
Tom
A Torx driver would have worked on my old headlights but the new ones have what looks like a torx driver sticking up? It will take a very small socket or some kind of special tool?
the clear ones i just put on were adjusted with a phillips head screwdriver. what i did was to get as close to a wall as possile, and then mark the wall with some tape, in the center of the beam concentration. when you are as close as you can get, it doesnt matter if they arent lined up right, you will still get the center just right. then, staying on a level ground, back straight up about 25 feet. now you will see just how far they are out of adjustment. you will want the center of the beam to be aimed just lower and to the center of the tape marks you made on the wall. this will ensure that you are not pointing straight at the oncoming eyes. i have not seen anything that looks like a torx bit standing up though. i bet a real small socket would work for you.
Are these OEM Ford lights? Or aftermarket? I replaced mine with OEM ford, I've never seen a reverse torx. maybe you can snap a pic if you don't figure it out?
I figured it out. I borrowed a 4mm socket. It fits the adjuster shaft. I did find a ford adjusting tool on the internet with a 4mm socket with a **** on the top. But any 4mm will work.
They are after market. The quality looks good and they came with the bulbs installed. I also got the clear turn signals to go with them...
I dont have any pics right now but here is where I got them. The sad thing is the prices have gone up about 25% in the two weeks since I ordered them. I paid $74 for each headlight and $28/$34 for the turn signals.
